About the Company

A leading commercial head contractor, we are strategically positioned for significant growth in 2026, backed by a robust project pipeline valued up to $20M across NSW. As a Design & Construct (D&C) specialist in the healthcare sector, we consistently deliver high-quality, mid-scale projects ($500k–$40M) specializing in hospital, medical, and dental environments, live extensions, and intricate interior fit-outs.
Renowned for our financial stability and exceptional staff retention, we build high-performing teams and invest heavily in our people to ensure they thrive.

About the Role & Project:

We are seeking a Site Manager to assume full control of a $5M early works expansion and complex internal fit-out of an existing hospital's antenatal wing in South West Sydney.

Operating within a live healthcare environment, this high-impact role requires navigating complex fabrication challenges, strict health compliance, and the coordination of specialized services, including:

  • Medical gases allocation

  • Radiation shielding

  • Stringent infection control protocols

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the project lifecycle from commencement through to final commissioning.

  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate all trade contractors, ensuring strict adherence to specifications, detailed layouts (FFE, disability access), and safety standards.

  • Programming & Compliance: Develop workable construction programs and conduct rigorous site inspections in line with BCA standards.

  • Safety & Reporting: Champion OH&S protocols, maintain meticulous site documentation, and deliver daily reports.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the client and project stakeholders, proactively resolving issues to mitigate risk.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: 3+ years as a Site Manager or Senior Foreman with an Australian Head Contractor, with a proven track record in medical or complex commercial builds.

  • Qualifications: A trade qualification in Carpentry or Joinery is essential.

  • Skills: Strong leadership, exceptional communication, and a composed, professional presence under pressure.

  • Mindset: A positive, results-driven attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.

Culture & Rewards:

Join a resilient, solution-focused team that genuinely enjoys what they do. We believe in backing our people with internal support, training, and clear pathways to leadership.

On offer:

  • A highly reputable, forward-thinking company culture.

  • Comprehensive staff wellbeing programs and extended leave entitlements.

  • Regular corporate events and team-building days.
